I have a PhD in political science from Duke University and was part of the research team that brought the world Superforecasting: The Art and Science of Prediction. I served as Chief Scientist of Good Judgment Inc, the corporate spinoff of that research group before leaving the political arena to do community work. From 2019-2021, I served as Executive Director of Opportunity Place Inc, a shelter for families and women experiencing homelessness in Northwest Florida. It was the most rewarding work I’ve ever done.
I currently provide consulting support to homeless service providers and continuum’s of care, with the occasional jaunt back into forecasting. I’m also working on a book about homelessness and the transformative power of creating space for each other.
